WIP: SD Gundam Astray (Red Frame) 3

WIP: SD Gundam Astray (Red Frame) 3

Its Time for Trimming, Pla-Plating and Panel Line Scribing!

Adding Designed Pla-Plates on the Astray's head and chest armor.

For Scribing Panel Lines, I only used a small pin and a dymo tape on it.
See the blue pin in the pic? ^^

Here is the concept of my Vfin :D I used .3mm and 1mm Pla Plate and hobby knife for trimming.

I made some details using my cheap scriber and drill bit.

I also trimmed/damage/Pla Plating some parts of the shield.

Here are some photos taken from our PGBC meet-up

WIP: SD Gundam Astray (Red Frame) 2

WIP: SD Gundam Astray (Red Frame) 2
In this page, i'm going to show you how i made my Scratch build Gundam Double X Backpack-Like.

All you need is 1mm Pla Plates and a Rectangular Lego like in the picture:

Make a sandwich like this using your own designed pla plate and Lego.
(I got this idea from David Ceremonia)

My friend, Ni Ko gave me some 1/144 HG Gundam X scraps including the backpack.
Since, he lost some of the parts of it, i used the backpack instead of putting it to trash.

I also use 1mm Pla Plate for the weapon.

I used some PC parts so i can connect it to the backpack.

I was planning to put some led or thrusters on the wings to give more attraction.

Stay Tuned again!

Here are some pictures of the wip:

Bazooka Weapon or Backpack for my SD Astray?
I started to make jegan stark missile pack on his shoulder, but i failed to copy it because my Lego is too long =.= I'm plan to model it in 3ds max so if i made a mistake i can easily delete it haha... then i'll go for the actual pla-plating :D

This is my first Scratch Build. And I decided to use it for my Astray Weapon and here's the result:
(I used Thin High Impact Sheets and Lego)
